it’s wild how quickly it lost me. I knew exactly what type of corporate product it would be, but the trailers made it look visually interesting, funny (the beach-off joke made me laugh ), and the whole idea of the Kens discovering patriarchy in the real world was pretty solid. 20 minutes in I was bored and couldn’t wait for it to be over.

I thought the Dua Lipa rant about Mao’s revisionism was sort of funny, but yeah, the fact that the movie stopped short of declaring Kosovo as rightfully Albanian really disappointed me. But I guess you can’t give up that Serbian market huh, capitalism at it again.

I thought it had some good jokes and the set design/costumes were cool, but the script was a mess and overall it felt like an overly long SNL sketch that meandered until it attempted to explain its purpose at the end.
This being in badposting means that its a bad take and you should apologize to Ryan Gosling
