I notice this with a lot of autistic people, including myself.

There’s two “accents,” actually.

One of them is kind of growly, for lack of a better term; like how it sounds when you tense up your lips/when you talk while trying not to move them, if that makes any sense. This could just be sampling error, but this seems to be more of a thing with people who are AFAB.

The other (which, funny enough, seems to skew more towards AMAB people, myself among them, though notice I said seems to skew more towards, so it’s not a 1:1 thing) is almost like a faint British accent. Like you’re a fancy English barrister who lectures at Oxford and you’re learning to talk like a normal person.

Does this make any fucking sense?

Could it have to do with how “well-adjusted” someone is? Like as you’re forced to mask/learn how to pretend to be normal, the awkward British professor thing fades; the growl (which I think I sorta have too, maybe) is a substrate that’s left behind.

Let me know right away if this is complete nonsense so I can be embarrassed and delete it as soon as possible.

There definitely is a sort of accent, I got confused for being British a couple times when I was younger but not really so much anymore. I still speak unusually though and people, especially people that I’ve just met, have a hard time understanding me

I think this was addressed in an Australian episode of Love On The Spectrum and it is speculated that some autistic people model a lot of their speech on American TV / anime.

Pretty accurate for the way I speak, I sound very monotone very robotic like

No I just like panned over your page and saw you bragging about working with mentally disabled people, which led to you bragging about working for an NGO in eastern europe as a social worker, again proving the online left is the smallest of all worlds, and seriously the only time people go nuts like this at me online is when they have repressed anger from not being able to abuse them at your jobs. Why would working at an NGO in eastern Europe preclude being an Anglo? Why can’t you send a single message that makes sense instead of clarifying why you don’t need to take an argument seriously? Or need to take a joke seriously? The world may never know.

Making wildly unsubstantiated claims against stuck up weirdos online sweeps 100% of the time. What can I say except it’s super effective. Bro is DIRECT MESSAGING ME about hypocrisy because the thread got locked. Hell, the whole reason he is mad is I DM’d him bc another thread got locked. We went full circle baby. 🐍

I hope you don’t beat your significant other over this. You do have one, I hope

which led to you bragging about working for an NGO in eastern europe as a social worker

No Voight, I run a social enterprise centre in one of the poorest parts of europe. I literally said in the comment that we provide workspaces and support - think a mix of community centre and office block. Equating “social enterprise” and “social worker” is on the same level as thinking “social democracy” is the same as “socialism”.
For the other part, poverty is not limited to eastern europe. Did you at any point think about how racist an assumption it is?

Bro is DIRECT MESSAGING ME about hypocrisy because the thread got locked.

You DIRECT MESSAGED ME [sic] while the thread was still open. You were literally commenting and DMing me at the same time. How do you not find your obsession embarassing at this point?

and seriously the only time people go nuts like this at me online is when they have repressed anger from not being able to abuse them at your jobs.

I’ve recieved over 30 messages and comments from you in the last two days. You apparently physically can’t stop yourself from spending anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour sending multiple replies to every comment I make.
There is nothing about this situation that would make anyone, even you, think that I’m the one having a breakdown.

If you want you can dig through my messages and find me explaining Britain is as poor as Missouri / Mississippi regions, but is buoyed up heavily by London which is similar to NYC/Los Angeles and heavy on finance

Yeah, I don’t want to read your messages, I have to point out stupid shit like how London bouying up the average across the country doesn’t actually improve the lives of the people in the rest of the country. Do you think that the existence of Paris makes people in the Calais Jungle rich? Do you think there’s no poverty in Saudi Arabia? Oh course not, that would be fucking stupid, but it’s what you jumped on in regards to east and weest europe.

Anyway, I actually kind of want to point out how unthinkingly bigoted you’ve been through this conversation - Earlier you used adults with learning disabilities to call me stupid, you’ve had a bunch of comments removed for using racist or ableist terminology and ideas, and apparently you think people’s self worth is measured by having a partner. Sure, you like the aesthetics of leftism, being able to say you tweeted an org and that makes you a good leftist, yelling at people for not being devout enough (posting on a website with all of 2000 semiregular users) but you’re not willing to put any effort in to think about what you say. Like you said, you are autistic and were taken out of regular classes to put into special education despite being capable of honours - that would qualify you to come to the monday morning art sessions put on by one of our groups. Adults with learning disabilities aren’t automatically stupid. Eastern Eurpoeans aren’t automatically poor. Aro/Ace comrades aren’t less worthy in some way because they don’t have a partner.

You’re determined to prove you’re the best leftist, better than the rest of here, but what do you really have? Sure, you tweet organisations, but we just have assurances that you definitely volunteer in some way. You berate me for being rude to someone who wants burning religious symbol emojis, but you can’t even insult me without being bigoted. You’ve tried a range a ways to prove that you’re smarter than us, but you’ve only misused vocabulary, made hugely mistaken assumptions, and mistaken a social enterprise for a social worker.

You’ve called me attention seeking, self important, stupid, too online, accused me of harrassing you, even called me an abuser, but your posts make it pretty clear that they’re just confessions of your own wrongdoings. Like really, every social worker is evil and hates you because you’re too smart? How much self reflection does it really take to reach the conclusion that you might just be the same asshole in real life that you are online?
