Russia shows no willingness to return bodies of Ukrainian prisoners of war (POW) allegedly killed in an Il-76 plane crash on Jan. 24, Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) spokesperson Andrii Yusov said in a comment to Suspilne, published on Jan. 30.

Or the plane was filled with dead bodies of prisoners Russia tortured to death and put on the plane lnowing it would be shot down and turning them over would allow Ukraine to prove that.

Either way, the plane certainly wasn’t full of living prisoners because that is what Russia said was on board.

Or these people were murdered and they used the opportunity to target disinformation at Ukraine. It seems plausible. Fascists encourage cruelty, which tends to result in increased deaths, and Russia uses every opportunity to lie and obfuscate reality so they can point back to poorly written articles decades later and claim “both sides.”

They tried to bluff Ukraine into not attacking such planes in the future due to fear of killing Ukrainian POWs. Sucks to suck, Russia. Sucks to fucking suck.
