        well even then… it’s metal.
        also it would’ve popped a circuit breaker before melting anything anyways…

        i double checked...

        turns out it was a coffee maker, too…
        if he would’ve just cut one side and left the other connected, so the current still went through the coffee maker… it probably would’ve worked as a resistor to keep it from blowing.
        if it was actually an incandescent lightbulb it definitely would work…
