My kids are at Youth Camp this week and the theme is about Heaven and glory. It’s been really good so far.
But it got me thinking about resources and I actually don’t have a ton of books on the subject.

How old/theologically sophisticated are the kids?
Teenagers (14-18) and they’re reasonably educated on theology. They’re not reading systematics, but they’re familiar with a good bit of theology.
Hmm, N.T. Wright wrote Surprised by Hope, l. I haven’t read it yet, but I’ve listed to some lectures on it by him. It’s about contextualizing the resurrection and the new Heaven and Earth vs the idea that Christians go away forever to Heaven.
I guess it depends on what you’re looking for though. Historical perspectives on Heaven, the process of deification, exegetical approaches to ideas of Heaven?
