        Woah. That’s pretty cool. Gonna be doing some deep dives. It’d be cool if the various subgenres hyperlinked to key examples - ofc wikipedia is usually pretty decent for that

          You can also type an artist you like in the search box and it will give you what genres they’re listed as so you can explore that genre. I guess just an FYI, this is the original project that started categorizing music created by MIT called “Echo Nest”. It was eventually bought out by Spotify some years back, but luckily the site remains and gets updates every now and then too.

            I appreciate you following up! 6 degrees of separation types of discovery is my fave way to get exposed to music and widen my tastes - and end up learning about artists that otherwise get forgotten overtime
