    As a person who grew up poor and then went all in getting debt/loans on education, but now make 4 times more than everyone in my family tree as a programmer, I strongly recommend doing it.

    No doubt - The loan is BS. The loan was BS when I grew up too, and took years to pay back. But you don’t want to be 40 competing for jobs that teenagers can do.

    In 40 and my best friends work 2-3 jobs. They work at Amazon warehouses or as a cashier at a mall. Where I am in a financial position where I actually pay for my friends to come with me and my family on vacation. Or let them stay in my guest room and treat them to fancy things.

    FAFSA + Community College/State universities. Use the tools you already have available before you ask for more
