Austropanorpa is a genus of scorpionflies belonging to the family Panorpodidae. This genus is unique to Australia, hence the name “Austropanorpa”, which combines “Austro” (meaning southern or Australian) and “Panorpa” (the name of a related genus of scorpionflies).
