That’s me deleted my Reddit account along with all data as I do not agree with recent events that have been taking place. I’m going to concentrate on Mastodon , Lemmy and take a look at Kbin .

I’m in this for the long haul. Fuck Reddit and Fuck Spez. I’m here to stay and make this place great. Assuming I can find all the same communities again.
How are you getting on with finding communities? I’ve really struggled. I’d be open to creating some communities myself and if there’s engagement I’d be happy to hand over to a better mod, but I’m not sure of the best practices, which instance to use, etc.
I’ve been looking at “All” under the communities tab of my instance and hen scrolling for things that interest me. There’s also a “sublem” in lemmy.world that shows new communities that are being created, several of which I am very interested in.
I’ve been browsing communities, but I’m reaching a lot of dead ends. Guess j either wait and see, or try to create them myself.
I’ll check out that sub though, thanks
You can find communities here: https://browse.feddit.de/
Thanks, I should’ve been more specific, I’ve been searching but either find old dormant subs with zero audience, or (more often) nothing at all.
Would be great if there was a way to register interest in a subs that don’t yet exist, it might encourage people to get them started.
Would be a shame to lose this week’s momentum - though I’m having fun so far 🙂
I keep trying to use that site, but I can’t login (spinny wheel forever) to subscribe my account to anything.
Do I misunderstand fediverse accounts? I signed up to a Lemmy instance, shouldn’t that login work here too?
