Yamamoto and Wada are two childhood friends attending different high schools who convene every afternoon at the food court at their local mall to engage in blissfully mundane conversations.

Easily the funniest manga I’ve read in years.

Yamamoto looks like a gyaru, but is quiet, smart, kind-hearted and drily funny.

Wada looks like a yamato nadeshiko, but is loud, crass, shallow and sort of dumb.

And the two of them together are glorious. And hilarious.

        With provisos, yes.

The only possible issue is that it’s pure episodic slice-of-life. Very little happens and there’s not much for overarching plot. Some people really hate that, so I wouldn’t recommend it to them.

Other than that though - yes - strongly recommended. I’m laughing to myself right now just thinking back on parts of it.
