But it was fixed how quickly? This doesn’t stand as a reason to not preorder if someone wants to.

The frustrating thing is that these entitled children have zero clue about game development. If they did, they might not bitch about every little thing so much. I have seen games that were 100% perfect with zero bugs get released, only to break. You can’t ever be sure a game will work when released to the wild. Having online functions, especially multiplayer, makes things even more fucked. It takes time to get things to work, and can’t be done with setting how and what happens in the wild.

FromSoft makes excellent time, especially for something so massive, and so many working on it. That’s the other thing many don’t realize, it’s that throwing bodies at it won’t make things happen any faster and can create more problems. It’s one of those inverse proportion things— the more people working on a code, the more likely someone will screw it up and/or people’s coding styles won’t play nice.

Anyway, as far as pre-orders go, if you pay attention to how companies/devs do things, you can make an educated decision on whether or not to preorder.
