    Daily reminder than any “faux leather” furniture you buy will look like this in three years max

    Just get regular fabric if you don’t want to pay for leather

        Faux-leather isn’t great, depending on how it’s made - but bonded leather is literally garbage glued to fabric.

        If it was bonded there would be some there but it would be flaky. It’s a slow process that happens pretty much all over.

        Faux rips/tears easily then a section peels off. It goes from fine to gone.

        Maybe it’s bonded and the picture is after the owner tried to “clean it up”. But I think this is just the cheap fake leather based on wear.

    Looks like someone doesn’t want to deal with the hassle and (small) cost to dispose of a couple heavy chairs.
