          I use Molly on fdroid. I do have signal but it’s the apk version so I might have to tough it out

                At the risk of sounding like a broken record here, can you confirm what version you have? I see 7.0 is released, but 6.47 is recommended.

                  Ah ok. I didn’t check in settings. It is 6.47 foss

                  Edit: oddly enough, in fdroid it shows I’m on 7.0.1

                  Edit 2: ohh so I have 2 versions of molly installed hee hee.

                    Neither of them let you set your username though? Interesting. When the functionality arrived for me, it was announced via a popup that showed at the bottom of the app as soon as I updated. But it might not roll out to all 7.0 users at once either…
