    So what, we should eat shit and die and suffer and not be excited about things that feel like small victories?

    The pov you’re providing is bleak and grim. We aren’t dumb, we know we’re fucked and our election sucks. We can focus on multiple things at a time and we can laugh at our political idiots while also being mad at them.

      stop pretending to be the good guys. your witchhunt on assange is no better than fucking putin killing navalny. and anyone can make a neverending list of more murica-not-so-good after a second thought.

        This comment right here highlights one of the biggest issues in American politics. The “us vs. them” mentality. In other countries, if you vote for a party, you vote for a party. It seems like in the US, you vote for a party and suddenly you must believe in X, you’re responsible for Y, you’re labelled as a Z, you’re always part of the problem, etc.

        You guys treat politics like fucking sports teams and it’s weird.
