I was visiting my mother today and she gave me this. It was my grandmothers embroidery hoop from either the late 50s or early 60s! As cool looking as it is it doesn’t seem super practical though. The shape is odd, and the only tension on it is from a little spring at the top lol

I love it!

    The cork is still there, but some big chunks of it are missing. I was planning to see if I could find something at the craft store to replace it so I can try and use the hoop!

      A quick check of Amazon turns up cork sheets sold as backing for coasters that may be of an appropriate thickness.

        That was going to be my next stop if the craft store didn’t have anything lol! Luckily Michael’s had a big 2 foot roll of 2mm cork that looks like it will work perfectly!
