First I was “…what.”. Then someone linked some context in the comments there - What I think about Atlas Shrugged and My New Problem. I can relate to the later, as I’ve wrote weirder fanfics under a similar premise. Not the former - last time that I tried to read Atlas Shrugged, I spend more time rolling my eyes at Rand’s gullible worldview than actually enjoying the story.
And now I’m “…okay.”. Not much changed, even with the context.
You could analyse this text on a thousand levels: for example, how idiots that make yoghurt cultures look smarter in comparison get on power. Or how society has been slowly idiotifying itself since 2010 (the year that this text was written). But at the end of the day it’s a silly story, and should be read as such.
