I downloaded as a wank CS2 to see if I could get a controller configuration that wasn’t a trainwreck and play with my friends. At first it worked perfectly albeit struggling with the UI to get my controller layout, but now I have an issue with black textures/shaders and the bots are incapable of navigating. [I ain’t playing competitively yet.]

I’ve tried a bunch of verifying files, different protons, kicked it back to desktop and updating all the mesa libraries with everything else. rebooted a bunch.

Has anyone solved this?

    Looks like switching to proton experimental after installing every damn update imaginable and turning down most of the graphics options results in like – really acceptable performance.
