Anyone watch motogp?

How? I subscribed to F1’s service, and I’m so freaking sick of their idiotic presenters, I’m looking for a new addiction. Also, FWIW, I really don’t care about the meatbags steering the things as much as about the machines and teams that build/maintain them.

(I acknowledge their skill, they’re as superhuman as their car/bike is supernormal. Literally.)

Yep, I’ve been to 5 GP’s and I’ll be there in San Marino come September.

I usually get my streams from illicit online sources and watch them live.

Once in a while I will download the race via bittorrent if I happen to miss the race.

@Deftdrummer Nice, how is the experience in real life? Seems like some tracks have excellent viewing opportunities. Which has been your favorite track?

It’s a fantastic experience. Nothing really prepares you for the roar of the bikes. Laguna Seca was my favorite, the atmosphere and what seemed like tens of thousands of motorcycles at the race and in the city.

@BenHM3 They have an online service available through motogp.com and depending where you live it can also be on the tv (BT Sport2). You can also find some streams every now and then (although I won’t link to those).

I really like the presenters for MotoGP; they are composed and have a wealth of knowledge. I don’t have a favorite rider, team, or manufacturer (just started watching two seasons ago). There’s also fantasy, of course.

Races takes 45 minutes or so. They added a short sprint race on Saturday this season and it’s shaken things up a bit.

Ducati has a lot of entries but that doesn’t mean they are guaranteed a win. The championship is competitive although the current leader is the winner from last season.

It’s the mid season break so they have some nice promos going on right now as well.
