When I write something into the address-bar to “google it”, it can often take 20 seconds to load the page. And if I simply click the address-bar again and click enter again, it will load right away.
I don’t remember changing anything, so I wonder if it’s just me.
I use Firefox Developer Edition 116, now actually 117 and the issue is still here.

You would need to show a capture of all the network calls from your browser when you go to Google and we can determine whether or not other people would experience the same issue.

A lot of the time it is a script that’s getting hung or some asset that’s not loading properly holding up the loading of the site.

I am suffering issues only with the Google Search Fixer with android. It hangs quite often and I have to close the entire tab and open a new tab to search on Google. I have this happening on my phone and tablet

I hope this is somehow resolved by Google or if there is a fix somehow.

I feel like this was another one of those “google does something shitty to specifically target Firefox users for degraded performance” situations.
The problem goes away when you set network.http.http3.enable to false.
