    I feel this. I don’t get why most synopsises start out interesting and then devolve halfway into “and then all the characters began to weirdly obsess over me -insert a bunch of yandere one-liners that are never even said in the series-”. It’s not appealing…

      It’s just a massive turn off. I just don’t want to read it anymore now. They take away half the suspense! The reader is like, “oh! So she doesn’t get kicked out of the house, go on an adventure, conquer dungeons, make friends and eventually save the world! Instead, she stays back with her insane plot armour, doing basic af shit and somehow save the world cause the author is fucking lazy…”
