I never used audiobooks from Spotify and it seems to be their justification for the price hike. I’m going to withhold my final judgment because they say there will be a tier without audiobooks, but I’m extremely skeptical. If not, I’m ready to axe my subscription - their recommendation algorithm isn’t worth that much.
I’d happily switch to my local library entirely, but I just switched to Linux and I’m struggling to find a replacement app that’s as robust as MusicBee.
I get this is a news worthwhile to publish as any other price rise, with that said, is there any news about any subscription model which lowers their price? (Not by adding a worse tier though).
I want to say Tidal did 1-2 months ago, but that was not without it’s downsides.
It’s a good thing we haven’t Raised their Taxes or Wages! Otherwise they might be forced to Raise their Prices!
