What I find amusing is that the cigarettes packages where I live have disgusting images with the potential sickness it comes from its usage, and yet people still buy them 'hey man, this will literally kill you someday" warning does not work.
I thought this was a well known measure but it seems that my USA cousin did not know about this kind of marketing.
One only can hope, but until people learns that you can use other browser and other search engine not likely (I am talking on Google side ofc, Reddit might be affected by this in the long run).

Videos play fine with Boost too, I have had issues with Sync though.

On a second thought, probably not the best solution, the forum that I used to visit often as a kid, rarely for piracy reasons but chatting and whatnot was a Spanish forum called “espalnds”, and it got closed because of piracy and I suffered a lot because of it :(

Weirdly enough this never failed to me with Boost… Other clients were busted though… (It seems that Summit for Lemmy also got a bug fix release recently addressing this).
Please consider adding a fix for marking the posts as read, Lemmy changed something in their backend and the 3rd party apps need to be updated.
