What’s 1600 years in the 4+ billion years the Earth has been around? Basically a blink of an eye.

It’s still 1,600 years, with full human lifespans contained in them. It doesn’t matter how many other years there are, a year is still a year, and 1,600 contains 60-70 or so generations.

Anyone can zoom out to make things seem relatively smaller, but that doesn’t change the scale of anything for the people living in it.
