Will we ever get to see removed posts by clicking through the modlog like we used to?

Could that code please be removed, so that standard users can view removed posts?
It obviously could, I don’t think it should, and I doubt it will. But I’m not the person to ask, and this comm isn’t for code changes. That’s what GitHub Issues and Pull Requests are for.

He isn’t asking for code changes, I think he’s asking that the option be enabled. There’s also an option for users to see their own deleted posts, too.
On first impression neither of those things appear to be options; they’re hard-coded. I know that there are no

Actually, I wish that code would be removed so that removed posts would be visible to standard users again (including the body text and image)
