Goddamn, I absolutely loved this episode. It might be my favorite so far, or at least a very close second to episode 5. The fight sequences were awesome, especially those featuring Nightcrawler and Wolverine, and the horror-esque scenes with the Prime Sentinels were brilliantly integrated.

The themes explored in this episode were also incredibly strong. The discussions around family, especially concerning the Summers family, as well as Nightcrawler and Rogue, were super engaging. And man do I love Kurt—his conversation with Jean was particularly poignant. Also, the episode beautifully addressed themes related to the atrocities and horrors that humans can inflict, and the apathy that allows these atrocities to persist, which is incredibly relevant to major current events.
