I’m ribbing you of course ;-) I’ve looked briefly at the docs. I have a web reseller account at a major provider with several parked domains I could easily use to roll my own and, after browsing the install info, decided it was not in my wheelhouse to properly install and manage.
I personally hope Lemmy takes off and the admins help smooth the way for non-technical users. I’m really enjoying it here, but I also know that several subs I used to frequent won’t populate here until it’s easier.
