In its terms and conditions, Google said it could keep devices sent in for repair if they have a non-OEM part. This will be changed now.

“please don’t buy our phones”

Google: You owe your phone so long as you don’t replace parts not from us and bring it for service. If you do it’s ours, forever! Even though, we take your money in the 1st place!
