Have you pre-ordered Starfield? Why or why not? I’ve never pre-ordered a game, but getting access a few day early is pretty tempting!

      Same here. Will play it on gamepass and buy it when it’s on sale for a couple bucks

    I have not. I am opposed to the general practice of preordering. I think that it’s important for a consumer to be able to see and know what they’re buying before they buy it. If one pre-orders a game, one is buying something based on the reputation of the studio or publisher or pre-release marketing. Some studios or publishers have pretty good reputations, but there is no studio that always hits home runs 100% of the time.

    Yes, because I want to play the game from September 1, and because Bethesda has a lot going on this game, so I think the gameplay experience will be good. Especially after the initial flop that Fallout 76 was. I think they’ve learnt lessons from that.

    And even if they didn’t “hit a home run” (which would surprise me), I want to experience this game for myself.
