That’s literally what a former client said to us devs, “please work hard because we have to meet our client expectations for that day, work in the evening and the weekend if needed, and we’ll pay you a nice restaurant, we’ll pay you the best pizzas you’ve ever eaten at the end” We were already working hours more than we should had. Also, they refuse to pay my company for the work done
This sort of thing just adds insult to injury in my opinion. Not only are they ripping you off by not paying overtime, they also insult your intelligence by pretending that they’re giving you compensation with pizza.
We literally had a pizza party yesterday.
They fired the director who had organized the pizza party last Thursday.
They got 6 pizzas for 25 people.
