I have a physical disability that makes a lot of things hard to do. I can’t really have hobbies or a job if my brain declines. That’s one of the biggest reasons I still care about covid prevention. That and death (immunocompromised).

Last New Years there was a very bad thread here that involved a lot of "I love you all, but" passive-aggressive bullying of “shut-ins” for not being normal enough to go out and le party, complete with very helpful suggestions for the “shut-ins” like “kiss a stranger.” Because covid don’t real and loving “shut-ins” by bullying them would totally cure them. The “touch grass” mantra was downright tier there, as was the assholishness-disguised-as-“love” fixation on normalcy.
i remember that shit. one of the most embarrassing threads ever seen on this site.
I remember that thread. It still angers me. I had to leave the site for a few weeks after all of that.
I’m glad you stayed and the "I love you all, " concern trolling douchebag left and never came back.
Yuck.
