Straight is I know how to shave or DIVOT.
I wouldn’t trust that to any other hand but my own. Carotid is too close.
Used a straight razor once, ended up with a cut on my nose and a pretty long one on my cheek, never again, safety razor it is.
Safe pick honestly. If you haven’t been taught strait, safety is the next best.
Find a good barber. Any barber could do a decent straight shave, a good barber can give you a great straight shave.
