Just finished the series, what a ride! You’ve got nine books, each describing events that took place during one day. Really "Night of the Living Dead"esque. Action takes place at the beginning of the outbreak in Denmark. The setting makes it a quite different read from traditional US based apocalypse. There’s no widespread gun ownership in Europe, so you’ll be following lots of close, in-your-face struggles, usually ending in bites.
