Oh don’t worry, we know we’re judging this all the time, because that’s how being human works. You and I and everyone else make this sort of judgement call every day. Nobody goes around seeing ‘wow this regime executed a dozen gay men for being gay, I hope nothing bad happens to its leaders.’

Was Hitler a good person? Serious question. Direct example of the root issue. If you wouldn’t tut and scold someone for saying Hitler deserved violent opposition, well, isn’t that a very slippery road? How can you judge Adolf literally Hitler? That’s the same as wishing death on that guy who cut you off in traffic, apparently.

There could not possibly be a reason that some people are considered worse than others!
