According to Wikipedia, the lastest version of eMule was released in 2010, but “official forum users” developed an updated version as of 2017.

Is this information up to date? Is that still true? I’d feel a lot better installing something on my computer that was last updated at least in this decade, which version of eMule should i pick, if any?

Shit, eMule still exists? The only thing I remember about using it centuries ago, was the high chance of downloading viruses, and getting shitty rips of single music tracks.

The old methods still work great for people who (at least nowadays) have common sense when it comes to what to click on.

Hell I still use DC++ all the time for old and/or single issues of comic books. Still haven’t found anything that does the job in the same way with the same ease.
