this is the first community I’ve joined on Lemmy that greeted me with a bot. it felt so much like Reddit that I almost dropped my phone in disgust. could we not please?

Edit: I’ve gone ahead and disabled the bot. If there’s an outcry (which I doubt) I’ll put it back since it’s not major.
