That said, Harris was also the first one to push for a ceasefire, calling for Israel to give aid/support to the enclave (that word from the NYT, not mine). So, much better because this is someone actually attempting to help people in need.

The only info I can find about her relationship to Israel is what the Presidential Cabinet has said with the comment above, her husband being Jewish, and an article that says she doesn’t have the same affiliation to Netenyahu the way Biden does, but that she has met with Benny Gantz at the white house and Israel’s President Herzog at a conference in Munich, but not the details of these meetings.
