Chrono Trigger: Fighting Game Potential

Imagine a world where the classic RPG Chrono Trigger had its own fighting game series! Thanks to an interview with Seiichi Ishii, designer of Tekken, we learn about the possibility of Chrono Trigger characters being featured in a fighting game.

Tobal No. 1 released alongside a demo of FF7, and still holds its own today, but it nearly took its characters straight from Chrono Trigger. If it had, it might have cemented the series as a household name like Tekken and Street Fighter. Read more in the interview.
