    They voted for the cat.

    And so will I.

(Wait… does Kamala have cats? She needs to pay the cat tax!)

Nonsense. Larry is a cat taken in when David Cameron is the Prime Minister, and after 5 of them got kicked out of the Cabinet Office, the Chief Mouser Larry is still there serving in the office. Larry doesn’t care who’s the premier are, Larry is just there, ready to lead in the time of political crisis.

To be fair…. Does anyone actually care who (your?) premier is?

            Larry though is awesome.

In any case, very few presidents haven’t had pets of some form. One even had a raccoon- that had been given to him for dinner…

            Quincy Adam’s had an alligator.

Trump didn’t have any (dogs don’t like him. Or cats.)

Maybe she needs to tell her step kids, “when I’m in the White House, we’ll get a cat” like the way the Obamas got Bo. The kids won’t be there full time, but the cat could. And there’s plenty of staff to help care for it.

Edit: Make that “some cats” and “care for them.” Plenty of room and sofas, lots of bonded pairs of adult cats in shelters.

    wp:Tsai Ing-wen

Tsai Ing-wen (Chinese: 蔡英文; born 31 August 1956) is a Taiwanese politician who served as the 7th president of the Republic of China (Taiwan) from 2016 to 2024, and was the first woman to hold that position.[1] A member of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), she intermittently served as chair of the DPP from 2008 to 2012, 2014 to 2018, and 2020 to 2022.[2]

Tsai is unmarried and has no children, making her Taiwan’s first unmarried president.

Tsai is known to be a cat lover, and her two cats, “Think Think” and “Ah Tsai”, featured prominently in her election campaign.[230] In October 2016, she adopted three retired guide dogs, named Bella, Bunny, and Maru.[231][232]
