I was under the impression that if I blocked a community I wouldn’t see posts from it anymore.
Doesn’t this apply to the "All” feed or have I misunderstood the “block” feature?
Because I still see these posts.

No worries, I understand your input and it is valid but I THINK (please correct me if I am wrong here) this isn’t the case here.
If I block “sports@lemmy.world”, it is valid and fully understandable that I would still see posts from “sports@xdc.lemmy”. Or?
The reason that I realized I was seeing posts from blocked communities was because I opened a post and where going to block the community it was posted to when I was shown a “unblock community” option instead, the community was already blocked by me previously.
Yeah, that just sounds like a bug. What you’re describing isn’t how it’s supposed to work at all.
