I’m not a Dr, engineer, or lawyer, or even that big of a star wars fan, but I’ve been watching videos on it and the cringe is real.

You guys know anyone who went?

There were some parts i had to just skip. The part where she’s claiming it was mostly normal “middle class” people, not bougie nerds with cash to blow, going to this thing had me rolling my eyes.

A bit of out of touch. But she’s a huge youtuber so I guess it’s to be expected

Yeah … i guess maybe if you consider something like a Dr or attorney to be middle class?

Other than parts like that it was a really well made video essay.

Middle class doesn’t actually mean anything though. Everyone who doesn’t have holes in their walls and doesn’t own a yacht thinks they’re middle class.

I mean in contemporary American society there’s a pretty broad concept of what it means, but i knew someone would here was going to give me flak for using that term eventually.

So just pretend it’s someone who’s pulling in 40k to 95k household income in the US

The high powered Dr or attorney is not what most people think when they think middle class in contemporary America. Someone like Vaush with his Beverly hills wealthy father is not middle class.

And please just enjoy making fun of the crappy star wars attraction.
