Invidious got hit by a cease and desist so they might be shutting down their operations. But yes, I believe it would be immune to those blocks unless they change their API.
Even if the current core team, for whatever reason, becomes unable to continue working on Invidious, someone will eventually fork it, and the operation will continue as normal :)
