While back watched all of the Latino dub of DBZ, pretty great but trying to watch it through official channels like Netflix left me wanting. Maybe Crunchyroll gots it but I ain’t paying for another subscription. Really brought me back to my time in Mexico when I was younger so that was fun not to mention it’s pretty damn faithful to the original even if they keep calling the solar flare kaioken
same, i finished rewatching DBZ a month ago. easier to understand (plus i got to watch a lot of episodes that i had never watched before)
lol i never really got that. get the same vibe from calling the makankosappo “special beam cannon”; the original japanese name sounds so much better in anime
agreed on both points keep hearing how free the latino dubbing scene was like I still got a soft spot for 4kids and funimation but when things get removed since fear of the audience not getting it I get annoyed. one thing off the top of my head was ginyu and jeeece introducing themselves with kabuki theater music playing in the original that the latino dub kept, their poses make so much more sense with it
