You’d think it would be making the rounds on torrent or .onion domains…
Probably nothing exciting or newsworthy enough.
From the article:
Thomas Rid, director of the Alperovitch Institute for Cybersecurity Studies at Johns Hopkins, also believes that the news organizations have made the right decision, but for different reasons. He said it appeared that an effort by a foreign agent to influence the 2024 presidential campaign was more newsworthy than the leaked material itself.
Undoubtedly the same shit he’s been peddling for years. His opponent is crooked, evil, and weak and needs to be stopped from amassing a global cabal of strong powerful figures that want nothing but to shut him down but he did nothing wrong anyway and actually he did win and the wall is beautiful and he didn’t rape kids but his running mate couldn’t get off the couch and emails are bad even though he did EXACTLY THE SAME THING and he’s very relevant even though he’s cancelled and he’s announcing that he’ll have an announcement about his health care plan that is coming next week which is praised by Putin, Hulk Hogan, and God.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I prefer my news to be forthright, moral and aboveboard. I’m tired of news organizations jumping on the latest scandal. At the same time, this seems shady as shit given the financial incentives involved.
