Is every number Summit displays intended to be highlighted as a phone number? Even two digit numbers are highlighted for me in both titles and comments. If I click on them, my dialer opens.

I would appreciate an option to disable that number matching.

Weird I can’t reproduce this. Maybe it’s a locale thing? Anyways I can look into it. Thanks for reporting!

I’ve investigated this a bit further and found out, that the highlighting does appear only when a SIM-card is inserted into my phone. If I remove the SIM-card and delete the app storage for Summit, the highlighting is gone. Changing the locale didn’t seem to have an impact on this. Maybe this helps.

I have a OnePlus 8 running Android 13 (LineageOS). I could replicate this on another phone also running LineageOS.

Cool. Thank you for the additional context. I’m oot most of today, but I’ll look into it tonight. I’ll reply back if I have any updates.

I investigated the issue. It appears that this is just how Android auto-links phone numbers. It extracts the country from the sim card and uses that as a clue on what numbers to match for valid phone numbers. Unfortunately it seems pretty difficult to roll my own linkifier for phone numbers. I can add a setting in the next update to just disable linking phone numbers altogether as a workaround.

I would greatly appreciate that, thank you. Love the app so far.
