Can you please stop posting this kind of drama? I mean go ahead and engage in that thread. But we don’t need to warm up every argument again and again and then also draw more attention to it by posting it to other communities. This is a community for meta-discussion. Not to draw more people in to have an even bigger argument or have the same discussion again at a different place.

This is *about* drama. Not meant to be drama in itself. So meant for discussion one level higher (/more abstract). And this post doesn’t do that. Just pointing somewhere “Here is drama” isn’t adding anything on that level. I mean OP doesn’t even judge, make any statements or engage in anything, except steer more people towards the drama.

And I’d argue it’s not even drama. The internet is full of people expressing crude opinions on that conflict, Israel and Nazis. It’s just business as usual on the internet. And generally speaking, if you don’t like it: Don’t feed the trolls! The correct way is not to give them even more attention. Either downvote them and be done with it, or completely ignore them and let them devolve into meaninglessness. Or report them, get the post deleted and let them have their argument someplace else, not on the Fediverse.

And following the description of this community: Why is exactly this post that outstanding and what makes it worth preserving above other posts?

So to sum it up: I see at least two major issues why this post doesn’t fit here. It’d be healthier if we did anything constructive here, not blow up any random misbehaviour and feed the fire.

And “Don’t feed the trolls” is a very basic rule on the internet. Known at least since the 1990s. You’d better have a reason to violate it. Or you’re just dragging down the place and foster trolling and bad behaviour.

I just want to check out juicy drama. This is juicy drama. Hell, it’s bringing juicy drama here.

I see no reason to exclude some drama.

Well, go ahead and warm up some small drama from a month ago 😆 I’m out, doing other things.

The point isn’t to warm it up but rather just enjoy what is there. It’s bad form to get involved

Fair enough. That sounds good to me. Yeah, we lack some popular AITA and other Reddit stories to satisfy our voyeuristic desire with other people’s drama (here on Lemmy). At least we have this instead. I kinda dislike dragging in stereotypes and groups of people who suffer from war, but in the end this is only some regular, stupid internet drama without consequence. So I’d say you’re entitled to spectate. It has to be good for something, anyways.
