It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is a 1963 American epic comedy film produced and directed by Stanley Kramer with a story and screenplay by William Rose and Tania Rose.
The film, starring Spencer Tracy with an all-star cast of comedians, is about the madcap pursuit of a suitcase full of stolen cash by a colorful group of strangers. It premiered on November 7, 1963. Wow I watched this and The Gods Must Be Crazy a lot as a kid but thought they were both about ten years old. This W is so much older than I thought!
I watched this and tried to show my kids but the audio levels were crazy and they just screamed and screamed and screamed, and I can understand why the kids did not like it, but there is a fabulous movie in there.
Like “rat race”? But not?
