I’m talking about the straw thing he was on about. That “little thing”

And I honestly think the amount of power our vote is a joke. Between the corrupt gerrymandering politicians and the corporate lobbyists, the average person has little say in our society.

If our vote mattered my generation wouldn’t be struggling to buy food and pay rent for the past decade

Really long way of saying “We’re too cowardly and selfish to get off our fat arses and do something about it, like the french do”

      Lol

There you go again, lumping all Americans together. You do realize our country is much larger right? I’m sure it’s so simple and easy over in France but over here things are a bit more complicated. We kind of have to struggle over here.

Kind of seems like I’m explaining to a brick wall though

Don’t besmirch brick walls like that!

While equally dense, they’d have lasted longer against the Germans.

Er, yeah, that’s how you can change things. Instead of individualism, division and selfishness, lump yourselves together and do something for your fellows instead of whining about your own problems. The French have a motto they live by.

          Liberté, égalité, fraternité.

Liberté (that’s freedom. Actual freedom, not your fake one)

Égalité (That’s equality. It’s being eroded a bit now, but they’re doing their best to fight against it, by believing in)

Fraternité (Basically brotherhood. Not being an individual, selfish or a coward, but standing up for what’s right for your fellow citizens, not just what’s right for your little clique)
