I’m sure y’all have noticed, but over the past 2 days or so, kbin.earth has had hours at a time where it would just timeout all network requests (and therefore, not let you connect). I’m not exactly sure what’s going on or what’s causing this issue, but I am trying different things to hopefully fix it.

Please be patient in the meantime.

Thanks as always jwr1! Your work is so appreciated, even by us (mostly) lurkers!

Thank you for your kind words. I know there are not a lot of people using kbin.earth, but I do appreciate the little feedback I do receive :)

Out of all the supposedly 90 active users, only one person actually asked about the issues, which makes me think there are actually fewer people using kbin.earth, or maybe they just weren’t online while the issue was present 🤷.

So far, since last night (after making a change), I haven’t noticed the issue anymore, so it’s possible it’s actually fixed now. I’ll probably give it another day just to make sure though.

Oh, for what it’s worth, I noticed it too. I just figured you were already aware and trying to fix it.

I noticed, but I usually wait a few days before I think about mentioning a problem I noticed. I don’t know why it feels rude.
