I’ve been advertising this place as a instance with a good balance of moderation and open federation .
While I’ve have seen clear lies being spread about exploding heads I figured the lemmy world admins would have the sense to actually investigate such claims before making rash decisions.
I want to know why it was defederated when the admins of that instance have been good about removing hate speech.
Was any attempt made to contact the admins to talk about any potential problems?
The answer is obviously that it’s an alt-right shithole that is literally filled with posts linking to gatewaypundit which is one of the trashiest sites on the internet.

I’d say yes, their posts are intentionally inflammatory, divisive, and typically outright falsehoods. This goes against the code of conduct outlined in the mastodon post, and also the rules.
Rule #3 specifically states no posts or comments promoting qanon or disproven conspiracy theories. Many of the rules actually can apply to that shithole site

I believe the platform you are looking for is Twitter. It will let you complain about Woke Liberal Agenda while patting you on the back that your failings are not your own.
