I remember when Japanese tourists were the ones we were supposed to hate for idk using cameras too enthusiastically or something and definitely not any racist reasons.

I’m sure that China supplanting Japan as the most ascendant economic rival to the US has nothing to do with this also definitely not racist gripe about Chinese tourists.
